Come rain or come shine, the race must go on!!!

Wow, what can I say.... If you weren't there you missed unbelievable conditions. No rain, just wind at your back & 4 - 6 ft. swell all the way home.
These were almost perfect conditions for this down-swell run from Malibu to Marina Del Rey. We had a record turnout for the Long Course with 76 OC1, OC2 & Surfskis...

Coming into the race many of the participants of the Socal Winter Racing Series were very close in points and the outcome of this race would make the difference.
Thank you to Cheance for once again organizing series. And to all Race Organizers for all their hard work in keeping the series going. I look forward to an even bigger and better race next year.
